In the year 2006, Mr. José Luis Ruiz Ortega and Mr. Luis Vázquez Gutiérrez, holding the positions of President and Attorney, respectively, of the Junta de Gobierno de la Ilustre and Fervorosa Hermandad Sacramental de Nuestro Padre Jesús de la Salud assembly and María Santísima de la Candelaria, requested my assistance to restore two pages of the Book of Rules in accordance with the images held by the two owners which had deteriorated due to use and the passage of time, considering that the brothers swear on each page to pledge proper fulfillment and observance of said rules, kissing the pages afterward.

Taking advantage of their request and of the trust placed in me once drawings of the face of both images were complete, I offered them the option to make a single limited edition of one hundred engravings of each. This made it possible to retain the original drawings and restore the pages, when necessary, as well as, give the brothers the opportunity to purchase the pieces.

Moved by the idea of doing good and without any thought of financial gain, we decided, with the approval of both parties, to set the edition’s sale price based solely on the expenses to cover the labor costs of the shop that made the prints and of the cost of materials (paper, plates, folders), leaving the Brotherhood as the sole owner and keeper of the complete edition and of the engraved plates.

HC : 1/1 For studio

PA : II/ XIV  Each and every one of these author’s proofs were left in my care to present them as gifts to seriously ill individuals, except for one reserved for and dedicated to my son.

Knowing the nature and purpose of these pieces, it would be good to kindly bless them before putting them into the hands of each recipient to strengthen them in faith and to console them during their difficult time.
